I can remember when my four kids were small I thought “tomorrow” would never come. I was so focused on the endless grind of raising them—living for my today back then—I almost forgot that tomorrow would eventually come and that I better be prepared. I then started to slowly and surely build for my tomorrow.
I’m glad I did because now I am living in that tomorrow.
Ladies, don’t forget that while you are living your life right here and right now, tomorrow is coming and only those of us who’ve planned, and built, will have something when tomorrow comes.
Practically speaking, spend today but plan for your retirement tomorrow. Raise your children today, but plan to have your husband as your friend and lover tomorrow when the kids are gone. Work diligently at your career today but make sure you’re planning to walk out your purpose and destiny tomorrow. Tomorrow is always coming ladies and only those of us who build for that tomorrow will have something tangible to enjoy when it comes.
Remember a powerful woman always lives for today and builds for her tomorrow.
